Avalon
Cottages represent hours of painstaking work to ensure products that match Avalon's
Manor House, both in tone and quality. Top quality choices were
made in every detail. That is why, for example,
you will find concrete rather than asphalt curbs,
Pella windows installed throughout, and cherry cabinets
in each kitchen. While planning the cottage designs, many
other retirement communities were surveyed and we worked to keep
those features found to be universally popular, such as radiant heat
throughout the house and garage area. We also added items that we
felt were missing from other communities, such as the option of
a two-car garage. Concerns expressed about a lack of
space caused us to design what we consider to be very
generous and spacious floor plans. Important features and
details abound! The Hampden town planner was so impressed with
Avalon's design that he advised the Hampden Planning Board that this
was likely to be the best designed neighborhood in Hampden. |
